How do I collect email addresses with Systeme.io?
Create an opt-in page in a funnel, choose a template, and add an email form with a clear reason to subscribe. Configure the form button and test a signup before sharing the page. Collect permission-based subscribers; a page alone does not bring an audience.
Can I send newsletters from my own business email address?
Yes, but authenticate the domain in Systeme.io's email settings and confirm the sender address. Its current guide requires custom-domain authentication and provides DNS records to add at your domain host. Connecting a website domain and authenticating email are separate steps; a Gmail address cannot be authenticated as your own domain.
Can Systeme.io send an automatic follow-up sequence after someone signs up?
Yes. Create a campaign, add its emails and delays, then connect a funnel subscription trigger to the action that subscribes the contact to that campaign. Send yourself a test through the actual opt-in page so you can check the complete experience.
Can I combine landing pages, email, courses and a community in one account?
Systeme.io includes those categories of tools. Its email feature supports broadcasts, sequences, tagging and actions linked to funnels and courses. That does not establish feature-for-feature parity with Kit, Teachable or a dedicated community platform: test your specific workflow before migrating.
Can I host my course videos directly in Systeme.io?
Yes. You can upload video files or use a video URL or embed code in courses, funnels and blogs. The official guide says storage is unlimited but individual video files must not exceed 2GB, and recommends smaller compressed files for faster loading.
Can I keep my existing sales website and use Systeme.io for course checkout?
A practical setup is to link the existing site's enrollment button to a Systeme.io order form configured with the course offer and its price. Test payment, access and confirmation emails together. This is a workflow recommendation based on the documented order-form setup, not a claim of a native Squarespace integration.
Can I offer a recurring subscription rather than a one-time purchase?
Yes. The official price-plan guide supports a one-time payment, a recurring subscription, or a fixed number of installments for a digital offer. Configure the amount, billing interval and tax behavior. Separate custom requirements such as Discord authentication or synchronizing a SQL database need their own integration assessment.
Can I use a custom domain or subdomain?
Yes. Add the domain in your account and publish the DNS records supplied by Systeme.io at your domain host. If you already have a website, consider a dedicated subdomain: a single subdomain cannot simultaneously point to two different hosted sites.
My site stopped showing in Google after migrating. What should I check first?
Check the page editor's SEO settings and make sure the option to hide the page from search engines is turned off. Also confirm the public page and domain work. Allowing indexing does not guarantee that Google will index or rank a page; investigate the specific URL in Search Console if the problem continues.
